If you want to automate water flow, this submersible pump is well suited for creating devices that can automatically water plants, control an aquarium, or even just for creating decorative fountains.

To control the pump from a microcontroller, we suggesting using a DC switch, transistor, or relay module.

You can also use PWM to control the power of the pump. In this case, a capacitor with a capacity of at least 100 μF should be inserted between the pump contacts in order to filter the signal.

Included in this kit is a pump with suction cups, a 1m long, flexible tube with a diameter of 10 mm, and a 2m power cable .

The power cable terminates in a 2.1 mm jack. To connect to your board, you can strip the cable and use the 2 wires as normal. If you don't like cutting, we suggest picking up this 2.1 mm barrel jack adapter.

Caution! To avoid overheating the pump during operation, it must be fully submerged in the liquid.
