Iskra Mini is a full-fledged Arduino platform, only smaller. It is only 33 × 20 mm. If size matters for your project (where smaller is better this time), the Iskra Mini is the right choice for you.

Use the Iskra with your already working Arduino device on a prototyping board to create an inexpensive connection to multiple microcontrollers, or to fit your entire project inside an Altoids tin.

We've already attached the pin headers to this version of Iskra Mini, so it's easier to get started with the board. However, if you want to make a device even smaller, try the Iskra Mini headless and simply solder the wires to the pins you are using.

Iskra Mini uses the same ATmega328 microcontroller as the popular Arduino Uno.

Connection and Hardware

Iskra Mini is programmed in the Arduino IDE. Please note that the board does not have a USB port and requires an adapter. If this is an issue, consider using these:

Power Supply

The Iskra Mini requires 5 volts. We have also installed a voltage regulator, which allows to use any external voltage from 5.3 to 9 volts. The regulator produces up to 150 mA of current.

You may use any +5V pin to supply the board with 5 volts. Use the VIN pin for different external voltage.
