This compact camera for the Raspberry Pi will come in handy in security systems projects, become the eyes of your robot, or even reveal the secrets of nature.

The camera is equipped with a Sony IMX219 Exmor eight-megapixel camera, which allows you to capture, record or broadcast video in 1080p, 720p, and VGA formats. For photos, the maximum frame resolution is 3280 × 2464 pixels.

To connect the module, a special video input CSI (Camera Serial Interface) is used, which significantly reduces the load on the CPU as compared to connecting cameras via USB. \ The module is compatible with all models of Raspberry Pi 1, 2 and 3.

At the hardware level, the module operates in one to seven modes.
