This integrated module receives data from the GPS and GLONASS navigation satellites. The NAVIA processor calculates latitude, longitude, altitude, local time, speed, and transfers them to the controller via UART.

The module can easily be the base for your new fitness tracker, an exact time server, or even a full-fledged navigator using an Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

The antenna on the ceramic substrate can track up to 33 satellites and the internal memory of the module is enough for storing the ephemeris of 66 more. This is more than enough for all three satellite groupings.

Furthermore, the simultaneous use of two navigation systems by the module reduces the positioning error to 5-10 feet.


The left group of contacts is used to power the module and transmit the received data to the controller via UART:

  • TX - connect to the RX pin of the microcontroller
  • V - connect to the power supply (3.3-5 V)
  • G - connect to ground

Just these three are enough to get navigation information.

If you want to change the operating mode of the module or synchronize devices with satellite signals, connect the second group of pins to the controller.

  • RX - connect to the TX pin on the microcontroller
  • P - connect to the digital input of the microcontroller

This module provides indicators for data transfer via UART and for receiving a satellite signal.
